This page exists so you don't have to take our word for anything. It is the specification we hold every batch to.

| Proprietary blends | If we won't tell you the amount, you can't judge the product. Every active is declared in milligrams. |
| Artificial colors and dyes | The color is for the human. The dog does not care, and it adds risk for no benefit. |
| Corn, wheat and soy | Cheap bulking agents that displace actives and sit near the top of most owners' sensitivity lists. |
| Xylitol | Toxic to dogs. It should not need saying, and yet. |
| Oxide-form minerals | Poorly absorbed. We pay for chelated forms instead. |
| Farmed fish oil | Higher contaminant load and a worse omega profile than wild-caught. |
| Megadosed fat-soluble vitamins | A, D, E and K accumulate. Daily products get formulated for a decade of use. |

Testing
Every batch is tested by an independent laboratory before it ships:
- Potency — confirms the actives are present at the declared amounts
- Heavy metals — lead, arsenic, cadmium, mercury
- Microbial — salmonella, E. coli, total plate count
- Peroxide value — oils only; this is the number that tells you whether a fish oil has gone rancid
- CFU count — probiotics only; measured at end of shelf life, not at manufacture
Your batch code is printed on the bottom of every tub and bottle. Email it to us and we will send you that batch's certificate of analysis.

- Poultry — all soft chews use a duck-liver base
- Dairy — DermaCoat chews contain bovine colostrum
